Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) inaugurated 1037th Golar Bazar Branch at Golar Bazar under Chamta Union of Noria Upazila in Shariatpur on June 25, 2019. Deputy Minister for Water Resources A K M Enamul Haque Shamim inaugurating the new branch formally as chief guest. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the bank Mohammad Ismail, Deputy Managing Director (DMD) Md. Afzal Karim and The DC of Shariatpur Mohammad Mamun-Ul-Hasan were present as special guests. The General Manager of Faridpur Division Md. Mokter Hossain presided over the inaugural ceremony. Among others, Assistant Senior Secretary from Financial Institutions Division Sheikh Siddiqur Rahman, high officials of the bank including local elites were present on the occasion.
