Taking the issue of women’s participation in the institutional economic sector seriously, Bangladesh Krishi Bank has taken initiatives to increase the flow of credit to women entrepreneurs. Women engaged in agro-based industries, agricultural machinery manufacturing industries, fisheries, livestock, handlooms, handicrafts, jute products, leather products industry, jewelery industry, agar and candle industry, tailoring etc small businesses will be considered for availing the said loan. Also women entrepreneurs can be financed in all sectors approved for CMSME loans.
